Are you seeking a temporary role that could lead to permanent after a qualifying period to support young people leaving care? Working on behalf of BS Social Care we are sourcing skilled workers who are keen to seek a new temporary opportunity that may lead to a full time permanent job. This role will be to provide outreach support to young people who have left care and who require support with independent living skills. The role will be to support young people aged 16-18 who require day to day support with their daily living skills to help them become more independent. This may be to support them access education or employment and support them with transitional skills into adult hood with cooking, cleaning and budgeting skills. You will ideally have experience of working with young people within a similar setting and have a good understanding of supporting young people and be able to communicate and engage with them. your flexibility will be key as hours will be full time over a rota basis including day, sleep in and weekend shifts. You will hold a full UK Driving License with access to you own car and with business insurance, you will have a minimum of 12 months experience of working within the social care sectors preferably with children and young people and be able to start work immediately pending compliance checks.
